The Designer
Gbenga Emmanuel Enikanosaye is the founder and creative director of Gee Royale, a luxury fashion house built at the intersection of African heritage and material innovation.
Trained in fashion design and driven by an obsessive curiosity for textiles, Gbenga's work moves fluidly between the runway and the research bench. His collections — from the debut Ekplisso to the flagship Syncretism — have established a design language rooted in craftsmanship, culture and sustainability.
Beyond the atelier, he leads the development of Minayo Textile, an original textile innovation that reinterprets African motifs through experimental process. His practice treats fashion as both art and research, and his ambition is unambiguous: to build an internationally recognised African luxury house on the strength of original ideas.
“Luxury is not imported. It is grown — from heritage, from research, from the discipline of the hand. Every Gee Royale piece is an argument that African design belongs at the very top of the global stage.”
